In order to identify the major causes of the congestion and the nature of the problem on transportation networks, a number of tasks  undertake. Those tasks include traffic volume counting at both directions, speed and delay studies. Origin – Destination (O-D) survey at major traffic generating intersections and consultation with the stakeholders regarding the generated problems also performs. The volume and movement pattern of people and goods within the Pourashava collects through a series of study and O-D survey. Volume and pattern of traffic movement identifies by traffic survey. Accommodates certain important questions regarding people’s attitude and preferences.

A comprehensive transport survey completes for two days. A number of road intersections and road links were selected with the help of Pourashava authority for traffic survey.
