Calculation Procedure to Set A Vision

Demand, desire, expectation is not synonyms as vision. In the consultation meeting, Pourashava officials and inhabitants present their expectation and in some cases they demands to create more suitable living environment removing different problems. Those includes drainage congestion, traffic congestion, crime and criminal activities, etc. Based on those demands and expectation of the people, considering a specific time and the inhabitants of specific living standard, a secondary study needs in considering different components such as –

• 1^st Consultation with the stakeholders in a specific time and the inhabitants of considerable specific living standard [SD]
• Major Economic Earnings of the inhabitants [EE]
• Major Economic Activities of the Area [EA]
• Specific / Important Economic Activities of the Area (may be minor but deserves future prospect) [SEA]
• Existing and Projected Population Density of the Area [EPD]
• Existing Literacy Rate of the Inhabitants [LR]
• Historical Base of the Area [HB]
• Technological Knowhow of the Inhabitants of the Area Including Technological Diffusion of the Nation [TKN]
• Major Climatic Disaster (whether the area is under disaster prone zone) [CD]
• Suitability of the Land [SL]

Therefore, SD + EE + EA + SEA + EPD + LR + HB + TKN + CD + SL = Vision
