Conceptualization of the Landuse Plan
Landuse Plan is one of the four components of Urban Area Plan (according to the guideline mentioned in the Master Plan). Landuse Plan is the first element of the Banaripara Pourashava Urban Area Plan. The plan presents managing and promoting development over medium-term on the basis of the strategies set by the longer-term Structure Plan. Basically, the Landuse Plan delivers an interpretation of the Urban Area Plan over the medium-term (10 years).
Jurisdiction of the Landuse Plan
Coverage of the Landuse Plan considers existing urban areas and their immediate surroundings. Purpose of the plan emphasizes for providing development guidance in the areas where most of the urban development activities are expected to take place over the next 10 years. The Landuse Plan delineates urban growth area also identified as the planning area. It contains more details about specific programs and policies that requires medium-term implementation procedure.
