There are several patches of land in the Pourashava where planned development can be achieved using different land development techniques. One of those techniques is Land Readjustment Technique. The technique will be practiced for development of Ward according to the Ward Action Plan. The plan prepared for designated areas in conforming land development techniques, known as Ward Action Plan.

Following successful implementation of the Ward Action Plan, management would be more efficient in handling projects. Again, in another, people residing in unplanned areas would feel the benefit of the Plan ensuring more effective community participation.

Content and Form of Ward Action Plan

The Ward Action Plan proceeds by introductory discussion, explains the approach of the plan. It also provides background with the linkage of Structure Plan and Urban Area Plan. Part two, identifies strategies and policies prescribed in the Structure Plan and Urban Area Plan and their uses. The plan also covers prioritization in case of development needs and Ward-wise Action for next five years. Proposal, priority tasks and financial involvement with the infrastructural development as a priority basis are the outcome of this Ward Action Plan. Implementation guidelines are the key issues of this plan. Comparative Advantage of Master Plan and proposals for mitigation of identified issues are also the components of this plan.
