Encourage national business to locate in Patharghata Upazila

If national business encourages to locate in promoting Pourashava / Upazila / Zila, they will provide the opportunity for services provide to support the business. Not only increase earning capacity for their locally recruited employees. The Pourashava will, therefore, assist central government in promoting Pourashava as a potential location for inward investment of this type.

Encourage central government to decentralize facilities from Barisal

Central Government deserves control over the location of many facilities currently located in Dhaka. Those are Government departments. The headquarters of nationalized or Government banks and quasi Government bodies. The Pourashava will encourage Central Government to offset the current strong tendency towards centralization of facilities. Those will in the Zila by relocating some of those facilities to Pourashava / Upazila.

Overcome the constraints on compatible landuse

Where establishes agricultural, industrial and commercial operations compatible with the objectives of the Structure Plan, the Pourashava will work with these operations to overcome the constraints to their expansion. Where wealth generating activities  constrain in their desire for expansion by lack of land, access or infrastructure provision, the Pourashava will, in conjunction with the other relevant authorities, endeavour to overcome these constraints.
