Planning is a continuous process of thinking, also defined as decision-making and resource allocating process related with development.

Planning being the agglomeration of complex interest and conflict of different disciplines. It is important for the planners to be quite rational in decision-making process of multi disciplinary development areas and fields.

(1) Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK), Dhaka.

(2) Khulna Development Authority (KDA), Khulna.

(3) Rajshahi Town Development Authority (RTDA), Rajshahi.

Planning function performs by the Pourashava and City Corporation is the development control with the approval of building plan as per East Bengal Building Construction Act, 1952.
