.   Maximum gross density for new residential areas: 75 persons per acre

.   Typical neighborhood size: 100 acre

.   Population size of a typical neighborhood: 7500 persons

In a typical neighborhood unit of 100 acres are accommodating 7500 persons 50 acres to be allowed to be dwellings and 50 acres for facilities. The later might be made up as follows:

.   2 primary schools at 3 acres each: 6 acres

.   1 secondary school at 10 acres: 10 acres

.   2 neighborhood playing fields at 5 acres each: 10 acres

.   1 neighborhood park and small open space: 10 acres

.   Principal roads: 8 acres

.   Shop, car park, mosque and other public buildings: 6 acres
