Proposal for improvement of the existing drain networks

A wider scope for construction of a drainage system provisions in the Pourashava. Central area remain open for such development immediately and other areas follow for projected period as designed in the plan. The Pourashava seems a barren field for imposing drainage system. The principle requires for drainage plan looks available in the area. Land slope, nearness of the natural drainage, sparse population density and soil condition supports drainage construction.

Drainage corridors

If a drainage network installs, the drainage originates throughout the Pourashava will carry by means of surface drains and culverts. These should accommodate within road reserves.

General location required

For sewerage treatment plant, large plot needs, preferably on outskirts of the Pourashava. For sewerage pumping station, small plots throughout the Pourashava needs and a system introduces.

Maintain land slope

Important component of the drainage network considers land slope, not maintains during the construction of existing drains. Slope of the Pourashava follows toward east and southeast. Slope of all drains should maintain this direction.
