Primary education calls the platform of a nation’s educational capability. Educational facilities with institutional support increase the literacy rate of a country. Other social activities also the consideration for Third World countries. The social activities only conceives a social interaction among the authorities and peoples, though they are guided with some prescribed rules and regulations.
Different type of educational facilities prevails in the urban areas of Bangladesh in private and public sectors. More differences shows in the private sector. Most of them consider commercial interest. But, no regulation exists on the establishment and control of those commercial educational facilities. Except these, all other primary level educational facilities provide and guide through some regulations prescribed by the government. A large number of controlling authorities also enforces those regulations. Though, a sequence of problems available with the educational facilities in the country.
There are some differences between ‘recognized primary school’ and ‘private school’. Recognized primary school means a school (or a department of a school) appropriates to primary education and for the time being recognizes by the Education Department of the Government (Bengal Primary Education Act, 1919). The term ‘Private School’ means any institutions established and run by a person or body of persons, not being the Central or Provincial Government or a Local Council or municipal body. Those schools, for the purpose of imparting organized instruction to ten or more children at a time. But, shall not include an institution recognizes by the Government or the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, or other Prescribed Authority.
