Urban Planning Sense

Sensible plan for urban services more critical for healthy growth of cities. Unplanned growth leads a number of problems, create misery for urban dwellers and make remedying of those difficulties. Yet flawed urban planning seems little better, or perhaps worse, than no urban planning at all. It is thus important, when taking on such an enormous task as the drafting of an Urban Area Plan for a Pourashava,  ensuring that the plan considers appropriate components and likely conducive to good health and well-being of the urban dwellers.

Present formation of the Pourashava belongs poor urban services. With the development of physical condition, substantial involvement  needs for those services. Drinking water supply, sewerage and sanitation facilities and dumping of solid wastes emphasizes as primary consideration. Absence of solid waste dumping ground creates health hazards. Open drain and sewerage system creates sanitation problem. Removal of those problems need proper planning and design.

The plan for urban services includes water supply, electricity, sewerage facility, telecommunication and gas supply. Regulations to address the proposals, monitoring and implementation issues focus as further guideline.
